About Mild Goose Chase
Duo, Sam Amos (guitar, Winston Salem, NC) and Scott Peters (cello, Nashville, TN), discovered a "strange chemistry between cello, guitar, and two voices that somehow blend like a cat on a Roomba – unlikely, oddly graceful, and strangely captivating."
Since releasing their debut album, A Tentative Debut, the band has embarked on the Get the Bird Out Tour, showcased at the International Bluegrass Music Association, and mildly chased their sound across the Southeast, the Rockies, and the Northeast. On stage, they balance instrumental prowess with the kind of casual chatter that makes you forget they just nailed something tricky.
If you’ve ever wondered what bluegrass cello sounds like, it’s this. If you’ve ever wondered what a Mild Goose Chase sounds like, you’ll just have to come hear it for yourself.
